When I was making this piece of digital art, I was struck by the idea that there truly isn't a gender category I can easily fit into. And what exactly does that mean for social justice, life under patriarchy and the fight for equality?

If my life experiences are messy—and I can fit anywhere for various reasons—does that mean I fit nowhere? Is there simply no space for the flavor of person (or trans person) I am?

Who fights for people like me?
