There Are No Winners In The Game Framed Print

$54.14 CAD

I made this painting while blasting Magdalena Bay and trying to understand myself (which is what artists generally do regardless of what their artist's statements say, FYI). What I stumbled upon is that I'm probably the most chaotic artist in existence.

Who free-hands inky tree-like shapes and a world like a geode? Who treats "problem solving" like an art exercise; nothing is planned, everything is permitted, and the goal is to finish something known but not understood? Me, I guess.

It's almost like being a person rests not within the desired "perfect" outcomes, but the journey of experience, and all the beautiful/weird mistakes and mysteries that happen throughout. We're all a work in progress until we aren't and that's what this art is for.

I hope you enjoy this framed matte print. If you'd like to procure the original (which is on paper and has beautiful metallic and neon gel pen work) it will be up in the shop shortly :)
